Pilonidal Sinus

Pilonidal sinus is a condition near the top of the buttock crease, often containing hair and debris. Surgery involves excision of the sinus tract and proper wound healing, using open, flap, or minimally invasive endoscopic techniques depending on case complexity. Most patients heal in 4-6 weeks and return to work in 1-2 weeks. Preventive hygiene and early intervention reduce recurrence.
